At Xmas Fir Tree, your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely happy with your Christmas tree, we offer a hassle-free return process.


📅 Return Window

  • You may return your item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
  • Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.

✅ Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and unassembled (or minimally assembled for inspection purposes only)
  • In original condition with all parts, accessories, and instructions included
  • Returned in the original packaging (or comparable protective packaging)
  • Not damaged due to misuse, improper assembly, or storage

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance” on the product page
  • Trees that have been fully assembled and used for the season
  • Items damaged by the customer after delivery

🔄 How to Initiate a Return

Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.

Step 2: Receive return authorization

Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions within 1-2 business days.

Step 3: Ship the item back

  • Package the item securely in its original box (or similar protective packaging)
  • Include the RA number on the outside of the package
  • Ship to the address provided in your return authorization email

⚠️ Important: Returns without an RA number may be refused or delayed.


💰 Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer-initiated returns (change of mind, ordered wrong size, etc.): Customer pays return shipping
  • Our error or defective items (wrong item sent, damaged, defective): We pay return shipping and provide a prepaid label

Return Shipping Tip: We recommend using a trackable shipping method with insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.


💵 Restocking Fees

  • No restocking fees are charged for returns in original condition that meet our return eligibility requirements.

💳 Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Refund amount includes the product price and applicable taxes.
  • Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 2-3 business days of receipt), your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.
  • Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • Store credit is available as an alternative to refund and can be issued immediately upon return receipt.

🔄 Exchanges

  • We gladly offer exchanges for a different size, style, or lighting option.
  • To request an exchange, follow the return process above and indicate your preferred replacement item.
  • If there is a price difference, we will either refund the difference or send a payment request for the additional amount.
  • Exchange shipping: If the exchange is due to our error, we cover shipping both ways. Otherwise, customer pays return shipping and we cover shipping for the replacement.

📦 Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Required: Email us at help@xmasfirtree.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged packaging (exterior box)
  • Photos of the damaged or defective product
  • Description of the issue

We will offer one of the following solutions at no cost to you:

  • Replacement: We’ll send a new tree immediately
  • Full refund: Including original shipping costs
  • Partial refund: If you wish to keep the item with minor damage

Note: Damage claims filed after 14 days may not be eligible for replacement or refund.


🚫 Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.
  • Once an order has entered the processing stage (after 24 hours), cancellations are subject to our standard return policy.

🎁 Gift Returns

  • Items purchased as gifts can be returned following the same policy.
  • Gift recipients should contact us with the order number for return authorization.
  • Refunds for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser’s payment method or as store credit to the gift recipient (recipient’s choice).

❌ Unauthorized or Non-Compliant Returns

Returns that do not meet our policy may be:

  • Rejected and returned to sender at customer’s expense
  • Subject to a partial refund (20%-50% deduction based on condition)

Examples of non-compliant returns:

  • Returns without an RA number
  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Used, damaged, or incomplete items (missing parts/packaging)
  • Items not eligible for return (Final Sale items)

 


🛡️ Warranty Information

All artificial Christmas trees come with a manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by product—please refer to the product page or contact us for details.
